COVID-19 Update
January 2021 Update
I am open for both in-person and telemedicine appointments. We are following strict safety and cleaning protocols at Serenity Health for our mutual comfort and safety.
Telemedicine visits
Telemedicine visits are offered as phone or video appointments and are appropriate for a health concern that does not require a physical exam or physical treatment. Health concerns that do require a physical exam (such as skin concerns, digestion, or cardiovascular health) or physical treatments (acupuncture) should be booked as in-person visits.
In-person visits:
Prior to your appointment
In advance of your visit you will receive an email with a screening questionnaire for COVID-19 symptoms. Please fill out this questionnaire 24 hours prior to your appointment. If you answer yes to any of the questions, please contact the clinic to re-schedule your appointment.
When you arrive
Please arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to your appointment start time. You will be asked to complete an additional COVID screening document with reception once you arrive for your appointment.
Please bring your own mask to all your appointments and please put on your mask prior to entering the building. If you forget, Serenity Health Clinic have disposable masks available for purchase. Once you enter the clinic, please sanitize your hands, we will provide hand sanitizer available for your use at the front desk.
Clinic room will be cleaned between patient appointments.
While Inside the Clinic
Do your best to maintain a physical distance of 2 meters or more between yourself and others in the clinic waiting room. Please cough or sneeze into your arm or tissue and wash or sanitize your hands immediately.
Public washrooms are available in the hallway if needed, please perform hand hygiene upon entering and exiting the washroom.
Payment & Re-booking
If you have entered a credit card into our Jane app booking software, payment can be completed through the app. Reception will need your permission after confirming the fees. Payment is also accepted using the POS system in the clinic. The device will be cleaned between uses to keep you safe.
Please stand behind the plexiglass barrier when interacting with reception staff for payment and re-booking.
